Argos

Ok, so I guess that some of you reading these won't really know what I am talking about here, so I'll just leave you a string of words for you to type into that well known video website, so that you can go check it out for yourself.

Ok so, the advert is "Argos Aliens Summer Advert 2013: Home Alone".

Now, apart from the absolute creepiness of these things (my seventeen year old sister really does not like these guys), this advert made me so infuriated.

So, in the advert, you see the father alien being left at home with the new baby, while the mother and two older children go out. You are then presented with a montage of the father failing to control his baby. Ok, it's an alien, so it's crawling across ceiling. riding a bike across the clothes line, and jumping off the walls (literally).

So, because of this, the father rings the mother to ask her to pick something up from him from Argos, showing that you can order something online from your home, and have someone in the store a few minutes later to collect it for you.

The advert was fairly believable up until now, ( ok, I didn't know that being an alien gave you perfect balance straight off the bat, enough balance to ride a bike across a washing line, but I'll give it to them. However, if an advert ever shows this baby struggling to learn to walk, I'm going to be on a rant again) until the advert ends with the baby alien inside a play pen.

This child has just got over the child block on the stairs, and been able to gets itself onto the ceiling, yet it can't get over a three foot fence?

I guess I know where I'll be buying my baby stuff from....
